Everything started with innocent spider-men, batmen and supermen. But later Disney felt his power and started to create more captivating characters. And Thor rushed into the world.
In mythology, Thor is a hammer- wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, protection of mankind, healing and fertility. In our case, he is the result of the working class imagination of Vikings who believed in gods. Thor loves hammers and nails. He is the son of Odin. As a god he loves himself and his work. But his loneliness had no limits. Even his hammer couldn’t help him.
The movie itself doesn’t differ much from the legend. One day he simply breaks the peace treaty between people and the giants and one of his brothers turns out to be a giant too. Thor is a member of the Avengers. What else can we say about him:
- He didn’t use his hammer the way he should.
- As every god he fell in love with a human girl
- The size of his hammer tells us that the size doesn’t really matter
- He likes to watch the rain
- It is impossible to lift his hammer
