Today we will draw a crab.
A crab is a creature that is found alongside the beaches in almost all the countries of the world. It is omnivorous and feeds on algae, mollusks, worms, fungi, bacteria, etc. Crabs live a measured life: they get up early, eat, breed, they live for 3-4 years and die on the tables of humans.
- The teeth of a crab are in his stomach.
- Some crabs have a right to bless humans. They are Heikegani crabs from Japan. The shell of this crab bears a pattern resembling a human face which many believe to be the face of an angry samurai. It is locally believed that these crabs are reincarnations of the spirits of the Heike warriors. From the scientific point of view these crabs were supposed to disappear long time ago.
- Crab’s claw is the best tool to attract females. They don’t have to beat them. Just Fiddler crabs, for example, have a single claw on one side, which they can wave and attract girls.
- The biggest crab was found in Maryland. It was a male and measured 9 inches.
And now we came up to drawing.
Step 1. We draw a big square and a smaller one inside of it. It should look like a football field.
Step 2. We draw a round body inside of the smaller square and the claws in the bigger one.
Step 3. Now we outline the contours making them clear.
Step 4. We erase extra lines and finish to draw the claws.
Step 5. Now we do shading to make the crab look real.
I’m waiting for your comments and new ideas. What else you would like to draw?
